Maweni in Kiswahili means “the place of the rocks” and Maweni Beach is sheltered by rocky outcrops at either end of its 1.5kms of pristine white sand.

Situated just North of the well-known Bofa Beach at Kilifi, the beach is shared by only three houses and has no hotels or beach boys (and the like!), so it is very private.

We started building this house in 2007, with the aim of creating a “home from home” for our family and friends to enjoy. The house has become a haven for us all and we hope that you too will visit to enjoy the peace, calm and relaxation of Maweni House.

The house is ideal for families or groups of friends. All of the five double bedrooms are en suite and the house comes fully staffed; we have an excellent cook who prepares delicious dishes from the fresh seafood which is bought to the house by local fishermen who come to sell their catch of the day.
